Cala Homes - Willow Bank, Alderton

Picture
Land Parcel 0088, Willow Bank Road, Alderton (19/00772/FUL) - Residential development up to 28 units

There is now a planning application from CALA Homes for 28 new houses on the site immediately south of the existing CALA development. This proposal was opposed by the vast majority of those villagers attending the consultation event in June. Villagers are encouraged to comment on the formal planning application using the link:

https://publicaccess.tewkesbury.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=dates&keyVal=PVSWR1QDFSR00

or by going to https://publicaccess.tewkesbury.gov.uk/online-applications/ then search using the reference 19/00772/FUL.

Why object?

This development is:
  1. Outside the village settlement boundary
  2. Not in the Alderton Neighbourhood Plan, the emerging Tewkesbury Borough Plan or the County Joint Core Strategy plan
  3. Would come on top of the 75 new houses (26% growth) already built in the last few years in the village
  4. Is within the Special Landscape Area and closes the historic gap between the village and the main road to Stow.

Your comments are important to represent the views of our village.
