CALA Homes - Willow Bank Road
LOST - Planning Inspectorate Appeal - CALA Homes - Willow Bank Road, Alderton
Unfortunately the Planning Inspector has found in favour of the Developer CALA Homes to develop 28 additional houses on Willow Bank Road at the entrance to the village. The Parish Council find this a surprising and damaging decision. It means that Alderton will have had a 36% increase in housing over a decade which is a huge change within a rural community.
You can find a copy of the Decision atwww.planninginspectorate.gov.uk(the reference number is3259637). The Parish Council is writing to our MP, Lawrence Robertson, to express our concern. If villagers wish to write to him the details are: email - robertsonl@parliament.uk or at 22 High Street, Tewkesbury, GL20 5AL.
We would like to thank all villagers who contributed to the exercise and to Tewkesbury Borough Council who fought the case. We will continue to resist speculative development proposals.
