ANNUAL MEETING This was held on 22nd April in the village hall and was well attended. The meeting included reports from the Parish Council and various village organisations. There was also discussion on items of community interest. TEWKESBURY COUNCIL MEETINGS Residents are reminded that meetings of Council Committees including Planning are available, live and recorded, on the Tewkesbury Council webcast. PLANNING UPDATES Proposed Development – Land south of Beckford Road [now 32 houses] 24/00393/OUT The Parish Council has submitted a further objection supporting concerns expressed by Gloucestershire Highways. Proposed Development – Land Behind 52-74 Willow Bank Road [ 48 houses] 2400801/FUL Changes from the original proposal are still to be considered by the Borough Council. Comments have been submitted by Parish Council and a number of other Consultees. Separately there is a consultation over street names for this development. To date the suggestions made are: Saxon, Granary, Stable, Garden, Green and Gardeners [followed by a suffice after the name e.g Road, Close]. ANNUAL PARISH MEETING, TUESDAY 22 APRIL, 7PM, VILLAGE HALL. This meeting is an opportunity to hear about events in the village and the work of the Aldertn Parish Council. PLANNING UPDATES Proposed Development – Land south of Beckford Road [now 32 houses] 24/00393/OUT Still waiting for some information about Highways matters. Proposed Development – Land Behind 52-74 Willow Bank Road [ 48 houses] 2400801/FUL Changes from original proposal to be considered by the Borough Council. The Parish Council have commented about the housing mix. Some clearance work has been completed. The Parish Council have complained that some of it was premature. Proposed Development – Land East of St Margaret’s Drive [48 houses] 24/00655/APP, 24/00129CONDIS, 24/00678/DEM Application for Reserved Matters approved. Awaiting development. 25/00143/FUL Frampton Farm Cottages, Dibden Lane – Erection of prefabricated log cabin 25/00176/FUL 20 St Margaret’s Drive – Rear extension. |
