Alderton Charity Football 2014
Saturday 3rd January 2015, Alderton Playing Fields, 2pm kick-off
This years charityThis years Charity Football match is raising money for the Friends of Oak Hill School (FOOHS) in Alderton and Dumbleton. FOOHS helps fund 'extras' that the school would not otherwise be able to afford including play and craft equipment, computers, books and school trips. The format for this years match is in the traditional playground format of two selected by team captains. Once again the brave, big hearted Married Men of Alderton will take to the field of play against the lonely, miserable Single Men of Alderton. We can't guarantee much quality football but we can provide some festive entertainment with fancy dress football, kids and wives penalty shoot out, burgers, mulled wine and hot drinks.
The match will kick-off at 2pm with everyone welcome afterwards in the Gardeners Arms for ceremonies and refreshments. |
