Once again in an old Alderton Christmas tradition, the Married folk of Alderton will take to the field of play against our Single ‘friends’. We can't guarantee the quality of the football, in fact, we can - it won't be very good - but we can offer a fun match between members of our community old and new. Full of outrageous dives, occasional cheating and blatant referee influencing at the least it'll get you out of the house after Christmas .
So please come along and support your team! The match kicks off at 11am with everyone welcome afterward in the Gardeners Arms for post-match socialising, awards, fines, and refreshments. Teas, coffee and cake are kindly provided by Alderton Acorns who will keep the proceeds. The tickets are in prime position on the halfway line and include on-site parking at Old Trafford. With a face value of £700 entry tickets are £20 each.
