Planning Inspectorate Appeal lost to CALA Homes
21/09/2021
The Planning Inspector has found in favour of the Developer CALA Homes to develop 28 additional houses on Willow Bank Road at the entrance to the village. The Parish Council find this a surprising and damaging decision. It means that Alderton will have had over 40% increase in housing over a decade which is a huge change within a rural community.
We would like to thank all villagers who contributed to the exercise and to Tewkesbury Borough Council who fought the case. We will continue to resist speculative development proposals. |
