Every house in Alderton Parish, including Alderton village, Alderton Fields, Frampton Cottages, Dixton and Lower Stanley has been hand-delivered a Coronavirus support leaflet providing residents with the contact details of two named volunteers who will support them throughout the period of Coronavirus if they need it.
Alderton's Volunteer Group has 80 volunteers, 50 supporting small groups of residents and a further 30 who are currently held in reserve to help as our communities needs become clearer. |
All Alderton Parish residents have been sent a leaflet with two named volunteers. Starting on Thurs 19th March volunteers from Alderton started to hand-deliver over 400 Coronavirus support leaflets to every household in the Parish. The leaflet provides residents with the contact details of two named volunteers who they can contact for support throughout the period of Coronavirus. We have 80 volunteers, 50 supporting small groups of residents and a further 30 who are currently held in reserve to help as our communities needs become clearer.
Starting on Thurs 19th March volunteers from Alderton started to hand-deliver over 400 Coronavirus support leaflets to every household in the Parish. The leaflet provides residents with the contact details of two named volunteers who they can contact for support throughout the period of Coronavirus. We have 80 volunteers, 50 supporting small groups of residents and a further 30 who are currently held in reserve to help as our communities needs become clearer.
Leaflet delivery to our residents will be taking place on Fri 20th March. Volunteers can help with picking up shopping, urgent supplies, posting mail or a friendly phone call.

CORONAVIRUS HELP IN ALDERTON: Following the UK Government’s announcement to avoid all non-essential social contact Alderton Parish Council are meeting on Tues 17th March and an update will be posted ASAP.
In the meantime help is available from over 50 individuals and families from Alderton, Alderton Fields, Frampton Cottages and Great Washbourne who have volunteered to help any residents who need it.
