Updated Thursday 19th Mar 2020
Starting on Thurs 19th March volunteers from Alderton started to hand-deliver over 400 Coronavirus support leaflets to every household in the Parish. The leaflet provides residents with the contact details of two named volunteers who they can contact for support throughout the period of Coronavirus. We have 80 volunteers, 50 supporting small groups of residents and a further 30 who are currently held in reserve to help as our communities needs become clearer.
Leaflet delivery to our residents will be taking place on Fri 20th March. Volunteers can help with picking up shopping, urgent supplies, posting mail or a friendly phone call.

Additionally if volunteers cannot be contacted residents can contact one of the Co-ordinators below who will get them some help:

Keith Page - Chairman of the Parish Council
620630 or 07759 527854 / [email protected]

Mark Watts-Jones - Alderton Volunteer Co-ordinator
620567 or 07973 963539 / [email protected]

Helen West - Secretary to Alderton Church
620587 or 07941 373030 / [email protected]

Our thanks to Alderton Parish Council, especially Keith Page and his family, Helen and Mike West, as well as all of the too-many-to-name volunteers.
