1. NOTE FROM EDITOR
Thank you for all the kind words I’ve received about the new newsletter. I know the move to being predominantly online is a controversial one, but paper copies will always be available for anyone who can’t access this online. The idea was not mine, initially, but requested by a villager.
The positives of going digital are:
I hope you, as an Aldertonian, understand why the decision was made.

PROPOSED NEW DEVELOPMENTS
Maps of the three current proposals are on noticeboards so villagers can see the extent of possible change and expansion.
1. Land East of St Margaret’s Drive [was 55 houses, now 48 houses]
This Enquiry is scheduled for 4th to 6th and 12th to 14th April. All comments made will be available to the Planning Inspector and the Parish Council will play a full role at the Hearing under what is called Rule Six Status. There will be an opportunity for villagers to speak during the Hearing and over 10 have volunteered to give statements. The Enquiry is likely to be held virtually, by video, rather than face to face.
