[email protected] ALDERTON PARISH COUNCIL ANNUAL MEETING This will be held on Tuesday 7 May 2024 at 7pm in the Village Hall. Refreshments will be provided. As well as reporting on events over the past year and the prospects for the next, the Parish Council will be encouraging local clubs, societies and other organisations to use this meeting as an opportunity to publicise their activities. It is hoped that new villagers will take this opportunity to find out more about local events. PROPOSED NEW DEVELOPMENT – Land West of Willow Bank Road [ 48 houses] Final permissions have been given and conditions established for the start of this development. PROPOSED NEW DEVELOPMENT – Land East of St Margaret’s Drive [48 houses] The Parish Council have been notified by Pegasus that they are acting for Freeman Homes who will be advancing a reserved matter planning application for 48 homes. Pegasus have said they want to engage with the Parish Council and local residents on the detail of the proposals they will be advancing. Parish Councillors will initially be looking to have an early meeting at which they will reinforce the need to engage residents. PROPOSED NEW DEVELOPMENT - Land South of Dibden Lane [ 26 affordable houses] Following discussion with their appointed Consultant, the Parish Council has now submitted detailed highway comments on issues relating to this proposal. |
